Woomp. (or: out from under my rock, briefly)

Mmm. Life eaten by New Relationship Energy on two fronts. Arms still limping along in a bad bad way, but I'm doing my exercises and they will get better. Dropped my cellphone in the loo at the Kells on Saturday night. Saw visiting Britons on Sunday. No other major news. Not posting much due to NRE, arms.

Oh, and due to six months just not being enough prep time, the Goblin King will be waiting another year to appear in the Masquerade. Sigh. Of relief, mostly.

Now, the real reason I am posting: Norwescon. Hotel logistics. 2 people, friday and saturday night, we want our own room. Con hotel is $99 a night. I know there are other places within 3 blocks that may be cheaper, but have no idea how to do the groundwork. Fellow cheapskate congoers: Recommendations?

NOT the Airport Plaza across the street. It's horrible. Try the Days Inn - it's a block or two north.

Try the Best Western. It's a bit down the street, but it's not bad. I work there.

Prices in april would depend on whether you want one or two beds, but would be 50-60.

I might need to start making hotel plans too. More about that anon.

Damn... NorWes is the weekend I get back from the East Coast. Sigh. I miss you. Glad NRE is making you happy.

I'm too hard-core of a partier and costumer to even think of staying anywhere but the convention hotel. Besides, I've always found the convenience worth the difference.
