I want to chop my hair off. I want a slightly shaggy boy cut. I want to send the braid off to Locks of Love. I currently have about 14" long, braided, so even longer ponytailed.

I want to know how long the waiting period should be on a decision like this.

I want to know if you think it will look good.

No altruism; their track record as a charity is actually rather dubious. Sheer genderbent mania, plus the fact that I don't know what to DO with it long.

But then on the other hand I start feeling slightly outraged that someone should have to have short hair to signal male, etc. etc.
