And then I got sick.
Lest people think I randomly ran out of steam on my flier project, I woke up Friday night with an incredibly sore throat.
Saturday I had a trip to Portland for hopefully the last suit fitting with Duchess. (They're being really great; our order has apparently been singularly and anomalously cursed.) Usually I have at least a day and a half of very sore throat before a cold really kicks in.
By noon, my legs were out of batteries and I was running hot and cold. I felt bad enough that I voluntarily drank alcohol. In a very classy cocktail bar, I demanded hot water with a lot of lemon and a shot of whisky. It was throat-sterilizingly fantastic.

spaced and cinnamonteal were very patient with me. Thanks to both of you. Today I have done nothing but make mac'n'cheese, shower, produce phlem, and fall asleep at Classic Trek.
Imma go back to Max Headroom and aloe Kleenex now.
