Instead of a real update, have some patriotic Pride fabric
So there's this "patriotic" fabric, currently on sale at Joann's.
It's shirtless white men with Tom of Finland abs, pecs, and shoulders, dressed in colonial breeches and suspenders, surrounded by imagery that all looks like it was pulled from the 1976 bicentennial extravaganza. Text on the fabric reads "LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS" and "I WANT YOU TO LOVE YOUR COUNTRY".
I have difficulties with getting to fabric stores in meatspace, but they are also selling it online, currently at $7.19/yd. I imagine that I am not the only person on my friendslist who can think of uses for such a thing. If you live locally and want in on a group order to save on shipping, please let me know by noon tomorrow. If you take this tip-off and go buy some yourself, you're welcome.
