I just checked hotmail from my home computer for the first time in several weeks, thanks to the superhuman efforts of the superb Meester Feesh (gfish), who swung four hours out of his way to bring me an SUV-ful of my possessions, most notably my computer.

The autofill on the hotmail username was still set to garillama's account. I half expected her to walk in and want to use it. I miss her.

In other news, I have signed a one year lease on this apartment, I continue to work, the apartment manager is grudgingly considering allowing me to paint my room subliminal blue-white instead of subliminal yellow-white (apartment standard "antique white," bleh), I'm surrounded by treasured possessions, I get to go to sci-fi cons and David Bowie concerts and excellent used bookstores and the Arboretum, and lots of people love me. Life is good.

But too busy to post about.
