1> I've opened [livejournal.com profile] mimble as my MLIS journal.

2> My house has a kitten! Kitten kitten kitten kitten! Black and grey tabby KITTEN! She is very fluffy, and three months old, and cute even by the normally high kitten standards. Her eyes are still a murky grey, and I'm wondering what they will settle on. Her human mother, my housemate, has named her Miss Molly Malone. My apologies to all of you (especially [livejournal.com profile] spaced) who now have an earworm.

With interactive encouragement, she can play for an hour and a half straight (under the desk, pause, run and LEAP to land dead-center on the pouncing practice target, run back under the desk...). Then she sleeps for four hours. Then she does it again.

I know. This is what kittens do. But she's so cuuuuute!

Well, is she a short hair or a long hair? I tend to do better with short hairs, as they shed less prolificaly. This will mitigate things enough that if I remember to brush off my clothes and wash my hands immediately after touching her for more than a few seconds, I should not have much, if any, reaction.
