I'm still trying to rent one more room. Know anyone who needs weirdo-friendly housing for the summer (or longer)?
My housemates moved out in a sudden flurry yesterday, leaving the house strangely, beautifully, unexpectedly empty. I now get to wipe everything down, throw away or set aside anything unclaimed, buy a new dish-drying rack... Oh, and keep showing the house to people.
It's a wonderful energetic space. Want to share it with me? Seriously, if you want to drop by today, either because you like cleaning empty spaces (I always find a truly empty room exhilarating), have some extra energy to support me in chucking stuff that turns out not to belong to anyone, want to watch me go on a short domestic shopping spree, or can just drop by to make sure I've eaten recently, I'd love to see you.
While you're here, you're welcome to claim some of my mathoms including review copies of books I snagged at library conventions.
Give a call to my cell phone. Sorry for the short notice. I didn't expect them to go from zero to MOVED in 12 hours.
Edit: Oy, just realized this means I'm missing Pride. Again. Last year I was in DC and their parade was staggered by a week, so I missed both. The year before I got heatstroke waiting for the bus. Le sigh.
If you want to come exert peer pressure and try to drag me to the parade or some other aspect of the festivities, I might be wheedleable depending on how much I get done. We'll see.
