Why am I finally inspired to post all this instead of letting it slip away like I usually do? Because Jason pointed me to the Google front page today. It's Paddington's 50th birthday.

Just like every cowboy sings a sad sad song

meowse has pointed out, in looking at his own life, that he cannot have any more relationships at the emotional intensity that he wants unless some of his current relationships come to an end. He has reached the capacity of his time and energy for near and dear.

I am ecstatic right now at the energy, intensity, and camaraderie that I am investing in spending time with arjache. I know that this is made possible because I am careful with my time and energy, and wouldn't be possible if I already had more relationships going than I already do. It probably wouldn't even be possible if I had the same number of current relationships, but already had a very similar camaraderie with one of those.

It is still reminding me how much I miss doing this very thing with cinnamonteal.
