Happy birthday to me!
Jun. 2nd, 2009 10:32 amI haven't read since the Ides of April, more or less, so I have some catching up to do (or a thousand entries to skip), but...
Happy birthday to me! I'm 30!
I intend to catch up on my missed birthday parties this year, I just need to plan them. I will probably do a potluck for one, and I intend to take Jason Webley's Elevanniversary Concert extravaganza as another. July 3rd in the evening, http://www.jasonwebley.com/ if you want to check out the show or order tickets. My tickets are in the Center Left section. I have bought a few extra in case it is sold out when you try to order. It will be a grand old surrealist revivalist time.
In short, much has been going on, I haven't posted about any of it, but I can at least use this as a vector to make sure you have advance notice of the party event that requires tickets. (In related events, Jason Webley's Camp Tomato is July 5th and should be a nice day in the park with a tomato fight.)
If anyone's interested in birthday-presenting me but doesn't know what I might like, I've still been totally obsessing about http://www.kiva.org/ lately and holding myself back from making more loans than I can afford there. Seriously, I've been maniacally cackling and rubbing my hands together over this, no civic duty about it. Gift certificates, or the knowledge that you've made a loan there to delight me, would be excellent and appreciated. (My address is gement (at) hotmail if you want to send me something related to this.)
