Now guess who found out yesterday that their contract ends today!
Yeah.
As with last time, I'm actually feeling pretty good about this. I knew since the day I started that as soon as I'd stayed a polite amount of time, I needed to send out resumes again. And by the six month mark, the location, commute, and contractor office culture had drained my will to live.
The last month was pretty unpleasant. Things are looking up!
EDIT: Guess who's been given another 6 week contract with the same boss, which they were offered 4 hours before leaving forever?
I... used the short notice and the fact that I'd already cleaned out my desk to bargain for full Work From Home. Yesssssssssssss. Now I have a fire under me AND another six weeks pay.
