gementRampant consumerism ahoy. This is mostly personal record-keeping. But you can sing it to the Twelve Days of Christmas! How far does $175 go at Goodwill, Walmart, and Payless Shoe?
6 pairs of pants (all stretch jeans or khakis between 10 and 14),
5 pretty tops (2 blouse, 2 button-up, 1 sweater),
4 (pairs of) trouser socks (in nud to go with the khakis),
3 boring bras,
2 pairs of shoes (work appropriate bone and beige),
and a DUSTER JUST LIKE MACLEODS.
Well, not really just like. But that way you could sing it to the Twelve Days of Christmas. I also got a long vivid green denim skirt, a piratical belt, and multivitamins, but they didn't fit in the count.
The Highlander-esque duster is black microfiber, and cut in the fairly standard Seattle style. It was right next to a $40 black leather duster that was strolling the line between Spike and Constantine. I do not get to buy $40 vanity jackets when I am not employed. But UNGH. It was sweet, oh so sweet, in the poetic sense and not the hiphop sense.
