Hey there, former uber-sidekick! I recently moved as well and found it verrryy useful to use a U-Haul open trailer. They are cheap ($20/day no mileage) and prolly available short notice. Hopefully you have handy pal with required vehicle hitch, but if not I have a hitch on my puny car that is good for pulling moderate loads < 800 lbs, and could possibly help out some evening. good luck or ping me...
