OK, so, on the subject of the two-week warning, what kind of advance arrangements should I be working on? I know to bring spare passport photos. How often will we have access to laundry? (It will inform how many days clothing I pack.)
I have heard rumours that I need to talk to my credit card company, and possibly get some kind of "travel card" issued? And I have never dealt with traveller's checks before.
