loree made a perfectly concise post on how to make sure your vote counts, how to avoid being blocked or report problems, and how to counter any excuses for not voting. I won't repeat her, I'll just strongly suggest that, if you haven't voted yet today, you read her post and then go do so. Yes, the polls look good. The polls are based in the theory that you actually go in and VOTE. Don't blink.

I will now skip several hairstyles in my planned "what's up with my hair" series in honor of the occasion, joining the "photo of me with my voting sticker" meme. I also offer up a single photo of my costume. It turns out I don't have even one good full-body portrait, which I'll have to correct in the coming weekend.



There. To everyone who has already voted, or is cheering us on from foreign passports, thank you. I know that this election won't lead to any kind of perfection. This isn't Prez. But we might build something better, and that's worth getting excited about.
