I have eight boxes of random objects plus three boxes of books, all of which I suspect my friends might want. I am inviting you to come over of an evening or afternoon and scavenge my worldly goods. You may also bring your own worldly goods, in the hopes that they will be scavenged as well.

Rules:
If you bring a Mathom that does not find a new home, you must carry it away again.

Okay, just the one rule, then. And I'm happy to coordinate with people about doing a Goodwill run at the end of the party. There will be the displaying of treasures, and probably the eating of snacks as well. Who's in?

P.S. Plantae had one of these recently and it was a rousing success. Remember, if you host, you don't have to haul stuff as far... I'd love to see this start happening every two months, like a floating generosity-meet. Moot? Anyway.

Quite frankly, *I* might have one of these every few months, it was that much fun to host.

I have a rather large quantity of things to dispose of. I may end up not actually bringing stuff, because I'm not sure I want to haul over multiple carloads of stuff, nor do I know how that would work logistically, but it's likely that I'll bring some things, even if only leftovers.

I just dropped a very large box of mathoms off at my local Goodwill on Saturday. I have future trips to Goodwill planned every weekend for the next month.

Just one more reason I wish I lived closer to you. You or one of your friends might have wanted those lovely, square, cherry blossom dessert plates I gave away.
