Go me!
So while I haven't been posting, I've been accumulating a vast number of craft projects. After I knitted the Six Scarf, I...
* knitted a Squiddle hat,
* knitted two striped hats,
* taught myself to crochet,
* crocheted a Leather Pride satchel but haven't felted it yet,
* have picked apart the damaged sections of J's baby blanket so I can reuse the yarn to recrochet it into whole cloth,
* worked a bit on my papercraft model of Unseen University,
* completely mapped out a really complicated Choose Your Own Adventure/D&D book on paper,
* played with clay,
* played with coloring books,
* drew a bunch of postcards using those watercolor blank cards and crayons.
* taught myself to knit lace,
* have gotten most of the way through a lace scarf for my mom, and
* started folding origami again.
In shameless consumerism, I...
* obtained an engraved pocket watch with "In case of emergency, release Time Lord" inscribed on it,
* acquired the world's most hideous houndstooth trousers,
* bought cuff link blanks and ivory-tone blank D12s, but have not applied one to the other yet,
* received, as a gift, every volume of the Raintree Reading Series, which was a set of sci-fi short collections I adored in my childhood library. Each is just four or five classic short stories, chosen by Asimov, on a theme: "Mutants," "Thinking Machines," "Bug Awful," etc.
And now I have put enough things in one post and I am stopping again.
