I've actually filled out my Fetlife profile instead of just reserving my namespace there. Same handle if you're on Fetlife and want to do the friending thing. My plan is to get used to reading the discussions of Seattlites and thus, like LJ, make some imaginary Internet friends that I'll then be delighted to meet in person instead of frozen up by "all these people are strangers" anxiety.

afro_dyte is fundraising to produce the play she wrote, Tulpa, or Anne&Me. It's twisty and personal, and has the queer Black protagonist talking about race and intimacy with her imaginary friend Anne Hathaway who crawls out of her television. There's already been one successful and well-reviewed staging, and I'd like to see it get further. You can help back it at IndieGoGo.
