The ULTIMATE personality test

I got Exhibitionist first, which probably fit better, but this is just a darn fine picture.

They are waging war on the local vacant lots. It makes me sad. My favorite had waist-high grass before they chopped it all down and started building a house on it. Now it's a dust bowl, except at the very edge where the hydrant keeps trucks away... a six inch wide strip where the grass has doggedly grown from mowed down to waist high again. My inner Garou is whimpering at this.

This post has been nagging at me for months every day as I walk past the lot. Maybe now that it's written down I can let it go. It just saddens me that there aren't any vacant lots left around here. They started leveling the one by my dad's house yesterday; I expect it will go the same way.

Webley review later.

I remember feeling the same way when they did this to the lots across the street from my house in the heights. It took away my favorite place to play and pick asparagus as well as blocking my view of the orchard. And then Josh Martin, Ms. Estep, and Mr. Hoffmann moved in (I liked Mr. Hoffmann, but the others...ugh). Is your dad still in the same place?

He moved!

And got married, not sure if I mentioned that bit when we talked.

He moved a whole block from his old place to a little white 4-bedroom house, across from the front doors of the library.

My mom works with Estep now and they get along pretty well. I can't help you with Josh Martin.

I read in your journal something about his wife and just put two and two together. So congratulations are in order for him! I think your dad is a good guy.

I never really had a problem with Estep, but it's never good to have the vice principal across the street from your house.

In eighth grade, Josh Martin asked if he could call me his "little love chop from the south." When I told him no he said, "Ok, my little love chop from the north." Eighth grade sucked beyond imagining.

Little love chop from the north?

That's... je ne se qua.

Please don't beat me if I spelled that wrong. I don't speak french.

Yes, my father loves a woman enough to volunteer to parent two MORE teenagers.

That's OK. I don't speak french either (anymore anyway).

so I say "What the french call a certain 'I don't know what.'"

Dr. Evil. :)

I know how you feel.

They built not just one but 2! new houses across the street from my parents' house on 13th Street. It was the field that I used to cut across to get to school, too. It was really weird to see houses there when we used to just see the field of Grantham.
