Here's the plan.

Friday, 3/26: I head to Portland with cristoforio for mortalcity's Let's Get the Tribe All Together dinner. Cristoforio has to get back on Sunday because of that job thing, but I'm staying through Tuesday.

Tuesday, 3/30: I head to Seattle, having contacted three temp agencies and needing to interview with them ASAP. I stay in Seattle approximately a week. By the end of that time there are two choices.

A) I have a job offer and need to bring half my stuff across the state NOW and start work. (I intend to have that half of stuff selected and boxed in advance, just in case.)

B) I am still waiting for the temp agency to come up with something, so I go home to box up the other half of my stuff to make a clean sweep of it.

Now that the tickets are bought (except for my return trip from Seattle, which is still fluid), I am galvanized. It happens now. This is the time of my life, whether I like it or not. Go.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it to either of my birthday things :( (and oddly, so was my friend Marcus...did you two hit it off or something when I wasn't looking? I didn't know you guys encountered each other enough for that at the 7th Sea game...I thought you left the game around the same time he was joining up...)

Good to know you are alive and uneaten. My advice regarding calling me is: do it after 4 PM. That's the earliest I get home. Also, take a look at your schedule, and consider this data when deciding when to try and connect with me: monday and wednesday afternoons are bad. Tuesday afternoons are good. Thursdays are VERY good. Fridays are, generally speaking, horrible, but this next friday should be okay. Saturdays are very good. Sundays are often good (especially this next one).

And regarding the icon...it is one part angst-icon (for when I am feeling hateful and depressed), and another part in-joke regarding the famous phrase, "Go to your happy place, Max: Dead girls in snow!" Someday when you're feeling up to it, I might even explain that...
