Here's the plan.

Friday, 3/26: I head to Portland with

mortalcity's Let's Get the Tribe All Together dinner. Cristoforio has to get back on Sunday because of that job thing, but I'm staying through Tuesday.

Tuesday, 3/30: I head to Seattle, having contacted three temp agencies and needing to interview with them ASAP. I stay in Seattle approximately a week. By the end of that time there are two choices.

A) I have a job offer and need to bring half my stuff across the state NOW and start work. (I intend to have that half of stuff selected and boxed in advance, just in case.)

B) I am still waiting for the temp agency to come up with something, so I go home to box up the other half of my stuff to make a clean sweep of it.

Now that the tickets are bought (except for my return trip from Seattle, which is still fluid), I am galvanized. It happens now. This is the time of my life, whether I like it or not. Go.
