Hi, all! I'm carving out this moment in my schedule to tell you that I haven't read my friends list in over a week because I've been crrrrrrazy busy. This state continues indefinitely. I'm checking e-mail about every two days.

If you really want to get information, you should let me know via my brand shiny new celphone, one of the many things I described in loving detail in one of the 20 LJ posts I have mentally composed in the last week. None of them will ever get written down. I just haven't got time. This always happens. Just as life gets interesting, I don't have time to document it for later. There's something deep there.

But anyway, the celphone. If I have you friended, the number will be visible in the next post. As usual, don't stalk me. If I do not have you friended, but you know some of the other people on my friends list, ask them.

In brief: I am now working for at least a month for Children's Hospital TDN, a branch office that runs the paperwork for clinical trials of Cystic Fibrosis drugs. I wrangle the paperwork for the FDA. It's terribly exciting.

I went to Norwescon for 3.5 hours on Saturday night, which was long enough for my tongue to hang about three feet out of my mouth. The Con Far was running very high this year, weirdly so. I'm not complaining; it was very sexy.

I decorated Easter eggs with an agnostic Jew and watched Life of Brian as per family tradition on Easter Sunday, followed by watching Lost Boys and drooling helplessly at Kiefer Sutherland. It's much easier to drool with a buddy, I've noticed. You build on each others' energy, you know?

I have a celphone and an apartment (and a room in the apartment within a week!) and an appointment to donate blood and a library card and grocery shopping and all the other things that say I Actually Live Here. Acquiring these things is currently taking all my energy. If you want to know how I'm doing (more specifically than BUSY!), call or e-mail. I will update again when less insane.

Pfft. Vulcans in pon farr feel a painfully dire urge to rut monogamously with their childhood mate-for-life. And their foreplay alone lasts longer than even the hardiest congoer can stay awake.

All that aside, how on earth did Laura never see The Life of Brian? I'm finally astonished...and a little uneasy...
