May Day, May Day
Apr. 29th, 2004 06:22 amSorry for the late notice. I've been busy. This is your official reminder that Jason Webley lives again, Friday, April 30, 8 pm, at Town Hall. Ticket Info. ($9, no fees, advance tickets still available through Paypal, or pay at the door if there are any left.)
In other news:
The computer furniture I asked for was sitting on the lawn of my apartment building. I had decided to spend a little time gawking in the bead store on my way home, which put me at the lawn at exactly the same time my housemate walked up. I had noticed the chair I didn't want, but no other pieces of furniture.
plantae said, "Is that the computer furniture you ordered?" I looked. It's exactly the right size for the computer area in my room, and matches the woodgrain of my bed and shelves. Yep, must be the one I ordered. We hauled it in.
I really really like it when I go with the grain of the Universe. It takes care of me, when I let it.
In other news:
- I'm temping a massive multi-user phone system this week (the marketing department of A Major HMO),
- I bought a small chest freezer (A Major Appliance, thus adding another rock-solid Grump point),
- I will be in Clarkston this weekend through Tuesday (hometown gang take note!)
- I start a twelve-week contract with Children's Hospital next week, which will keep me in rent for a goodly long time,
- Ask me to geek out about the new 7th Sea game I'm in! (I'm reprising my Fate Witch from two years ago... And she's all pratchetty...)
- and the Universe, upon my general request to the airwaves, delivered a piece of computer furniture to my front doorstep.
