Computer go boom.
Jan. 27th, 2005 01:41 pmArgh. Well, I have some time to write in my LJ, at least. Forgive any typos, I'm touchtyping blind here as my monitor is currently producing all text in Sanskrit. The boss says I don't have to do any Medicare letters until the screen starts giving me something I can read.
Moments like this I try to take a deep breath and appreciate the good stuff. The sky's a lovely purple today, the vines growing up around the building have been convinced to slow down enough that daily cutting contains them - did I mention that? We couldn't get in for two days last week even with two maintenance guys and electric clippers. Oh, and the bathroom light switch no longer plays "I will always love you," which is a good thing, because I was about ready to take a sledgehammer to it...
I've lost my place. Good things. Right. So work's been looking up. Also, my legs are getting longer, which is making the walk up the hill in the morning much easier. I hope they stop before they hit ten feet, though; my boss doesn't want to pay for building renovations, Environmental Health regs or not, and the pants get expensive. At least I don't have
cadhla's problem, though...
Must go - Prydonia Community Care Center on the phone - back. If you ever work in Geriatrics, don't mess with Gallifreyans on elder care, they have some weird ideas about reincarnation that make for INSANE care management policies. But they're contracted, so...
Hey, screen's back to good old Phoenician. Back on my head. Oh, and happy Rabbit Hole Day.
