I ran a game! And it didn't suck!

gement[This is the first time I've posted about running my game, and all the explanation you'll get for now... I reserve the right to bore you with more later. I run a game set in the Buffyverse (canon cuts off at the end of 6th Season before the First raises a ruckus and screws everything up). It takes place in Whistler's Point, WA, which is on the peninsula and has a lot of Twin Peaks about it. The Slayer's name is Madison. You have been briefed.]
Best out of character line of the night:
"Can we catch him?"
"He's a vampire Watcher with his head on fire. No. No force on this earth can catch him."
But they did. I'm so proud of them. My little Slayer took down a very dangerous undead rogue Watcher. And in true Buffy style, she did it because she wouldn't play by his rules and kept a ridiculous number of helpful friends around her at all times.
Randall Tate, a.k.a. Gentleman Death
He's only a century old and has bagged four Slayers (the first was the one to which he was assigned). He compulsively introduces himself to his victims, won't kill a Slayer unless he can drain her alive, and always kills the Watcher... after and not before.
Unusually among Slayer-killers, he is not arrogant, does not brawl, and did not invent or encourage his title. His modesty only fuels his reputation, and there was public betting in the local demon bar as soon as he showed his face in Whistler's Point. (All on how long *she* would last...)
Between all the members of my little group (I'd list them, but it sounds too silly), they had him running like a bitch, and he still couldn't get away.
