Good things lately
May. 15th, 2006 06:24 pmI haven't written in a month due to that Life thing, but just to let you know, it's going well.
Jason made a daisy chain for me this Saturday,
all of my projects for school are proceeding smoothly and are all due in different weeks,
I got brave and applied for four jobs on Sunday (this is the resume I'm using),
I'm continuing to aggressively eat well and attend Tai Chi,
tutoring is going well, including "Jonah" who has a temper problem and this is his first year out of private school... I had impulse control problems in third grade and I know that misery, and "Breakdancer" who refuses to focus on work but reads aloud beautifully when given individual attention,
I seem to be making a good impression on teacher-type people,
I played with origami and sumi-e ink on Sunday and planted an onion in the yard and made sun tea,
I finally replaced my cellphone on Saturday and bought a copy of SPANC which looks like a lot of fun,
I've been reading a ton of books and watching Buffy and Dangermouse,
I've been flirting with a beautiful woman,
I was given a big pile of shelving,
I called all my moms and grandmoms for Mother's Day,
And I know I'm forgetting a thousand other joys.
I just thought I'd core-dump that.

Sales assistant is a lot more just organizing than it sounds. We've lost ALL of our sales assistants... and they're re-vamping the budget. And it gives me an excuse to say Hey Hello!
