Four decks made, a Sunday supine
Apr. 30th, 2007 12:05 pmThe party went just lovely, though it would have been better had I thought to order another 2000 Magic cards on E-Bay in advance. C'est la vie. I had lovely company, a nice crowd of about 10 people in the early evening, tasty snacks, and a wonderfully supportive gang of sticker stickers.
Everyone went home by 9, and I collapsed into bed with a shot voice and aching sinuses. Then I woke up Sunday and felt hung over. Dreadfully hung over. On a moderately quiet teetotaler social evening. I lay on the couch all day. I couldn't focus enough to even watch lectures on the computer. That part wasn't so good.
On the bright side, I am now firmly on the upswing and do not expect a relapse. And I read Gaudy Night, which is the best romance novel which incidentally contains a mystery EVER.
