Update 7/14/03: I have been corrected... this is most likely actually a Southern Baptist lemming. (I had no idea more churches had "elders"!)

Date: 2003-07-13 03:59 pm (UTC)I could be far wrong, of course. Do a lot of churches have "elder" as a specific title? I'd only heard the LDS do it, and their elders are certainly well-known for intense personal education and outreach, fitting the description of the Psalms result.
I didn't test through any others, so I could well have missed some red flag conflicting theology.
