meowse has pointed out, in looking at his own life, that he cannot have any more relationships at the emotional intensity that he wants unless some of his current relationships come to an end. He has reached the capacity of his time and energy for near and dear.

I am ecstatic right now at the energy, intensity, and camaraderie that I am investing in spending time with arjache. I know that this is made possible because I am careful with my time and energy, and wouldn't be possible if I already had more relationships going than I already do. It probably wouldn't even be possible if I had the same number of current relationships, but already had a very similar camaraderie with one of those.

It is still reminding me how much I miss doing this very thing with cinnamonteal.

I'm getting to that point too. ladyt37 keeps on re-appearing in my life and tazfrog and I are doing well. But, they are both ambivalent about having children. I think I could manage one more relationship that was somewhat intense, but that's it.
