Also, the importance of shoes to a costume cannot be overstated. Every time I look down today, this is what I see:
Black wingtips at the ends of cartoonishly purple legs with an emerald tie. Every time I look down, it makes me want to cackle and rob banks.

Date: 2008-10-31 05:03 pm (UTC)For anyone who'd like to reproduce this, *all* I did was print out one of the standard images, about 500 by 500 px (took up most of the width of a piece of paper) and started using the little poky tool from my carving set to line out the shapes. So it wouldn't fall apart, I used the hole puncher tool (which is also the poky tool) for the main figure-8 part and the outside rim.
