Not the TV I intended...
Feb. 28th, 2012 04:43 pmAfter several attempts to find things Netflix doesn't have (I'll have to look for The 4400 and V separately), and some tasty tasty Futurama, it was J's turn to choose again. His preferred sick-time TV is schlock horror. This week, that's in the form of Supernatural.
J cheerfully calls it "Mullet Buffy." Having watched much of the first season in the last few days and easily shouting out which woman (singular) will survive an episode based on clothing coverage, I have made a Supernatural bingo card.

Quite far from the first, I'm sure, but it's surprisingly playable! I am actually playing scrambled arrangements of it for every episode. I... must be pretty bored. I'm enjoying calling out classic horror references, though.

Date: 2012-02-29 01:45 am (UTC)ETA: This is actually a classic horror trope in its own right, called the Last Girl. She's the good girl, preferably a virgin, who traditionally fights off the villain with scissors or something after all the more free-spirited and sexually active females have been picked off.
I loved my horror movie lit crit class.
