I want to chop my hair off. I want a slightly shaggy boy cut. I want to send the braid off to Locks of Love. I currently have about 14" long, braided, so even longer ponytailed.

I want to know how long the waiting period should be on a decision like this.

I want to know if you think it will look good.

Well, you know I have a panic attack at the thought of you cutting your hair, but I'm not sure that my insecurities should have any effect on your decision. I also think you'd look absolutely beautiful no matter what you did to your hair. But please, if you do decide to cut it, may I have a lock of it like you gave me before college?
